Jan Øyvind Aagedal holds a Master in Computer Science from the Norwegian University of Technology and Science and a Dr. scient. in software engineering from the University of Oslo.

Jan Øyvind worked as a senior scientist at SINTEF and chief architect in the IPTV project in Telenor before joining Norse in 2009.
